*An important notice regarding firearms and Canada* As of January 1, 2001: Nonresidents entering Canada with firearms and without a Canadian firearm license must complete a Nonresident Firearm Declaration and pay a $50 Canadian fee at point of entry. Nonresidents without a Canadian license who are borrowing firearms must have an approved Temporary Firearms Borrowing License. The cost is $30 Canadian. A Canadian firearms license, the Nonresident Firearm Declaration or the Temporary Firearms Borrowing License can be used to purchase ammunition and to enjoy one of the most spectacular hunting terrain's in the world.
