Join us for a fantastic camel hunt in the vast Queensland and South Australian deserts. Australia is the ONLY country in the world to still have herds of wild dromedary (one humped) camels roaming the deserts of the interior. Herd bulls and solitary bulls weighing in excess of one metric tonne (over two thousand pounds) are our quarry. Aggressive, quarrelsome and downright dangerous, these huge beasts are a cunning and worthy adversary for any hunter.
The camel hunting safari is a package hunt. Our guests are collected from and returned to the airport in Thargomindah in South West Queensland. A commercial service flies twice a week between the Queensland State Capital of Brisbane and Thargomindah.
Each hunt lasts five days, including driving time between the hunting concession in the outback and Thargomindah. You will travel in an air-conditioned four wheel drive vehicle and stay in a very comfortable, air-conditioned cottage.
The property on which we hunt is a 1 million acre cattle property situated near "Cameron's Corner". This location is the junction of three states - Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. It is also located in the very heart of the Australian outback, with huge red sand dunes dominating the landscape. It offers a window on the "red centre" of Australia that is not to be missed, and is experienced by very few international travelers.

Daily Rates: All meals, alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages, weapons, air-conditioned accommodation, land transport, professional guide service, caping, preservation and care of skins and trophies. Permits and ammunition are supplied at cost price
Package rate per hunter = US$4,000 1 X 1, US$3,500 2 X 1.
Non-hunters = US$150/day
Dingo are also available in plentiful supply in the central Australian deserts.
Partners and other non-hunters are welcome to join a camel hunting adventure.
