You will not get bigger wild goats when hunting anywhere in Australia. Pictured beside is PH David Gold and client Greg Coyne from Queensland, together with Aboriginal guide. David's feral goat with the unusual horn shape measured a 43" spread, with 36" outside curls and 6" bases. Greg's more typical goat has a 42" spread, with 37 inch outside curls and 7 inch bases.

We hunt on North Goulburn Island (see map below), a short flight by light plane from Darwin, the capital city of the Northern Territory. We are the ONLY outfitter to offer a package, multi-day hunt on this unique island. This enables our clients to fully explore the island, and partake in extra activities such as fishing and crabbing with the local Aboriginal people. The lightly harvested wild goat population on this island numbers in excess of 2,000 animals. First released here in the late 18th century to provide food for shipwrecked sailors, the population has largely self managed itself ever since. With no predators to concern them, the billies have their entire lives to grow  their magnificent horns.

The teeming waters surrounding the island have to be experienced to be believed. The water literally boils with fish such as tuna, queenfish, mackerel and trevally (just to name a few), during their frequent feeding frenzies on the ever abundant baitfish.

Your package rate includes return airfares from Darwin-North Goulburn Island, daily rates, trophy fees for TWO trophy wild goats, accommodation at our bush camp, meals and beverages, our professional guide service, services of our Aboriginal assistants, fishing, crabbing, caping, care of capes & horns, and the use of our weapons. Permits and ammunition are provided at cost price.
