A remote Canadian fly-in fishing and hunting lodge, located 500 air miles northwest from the city of Winnipeg. We are approximately 30 minutes by floatplane from the town of Lynn Lake. Located in one of Northern Canada's last untouched wilderness areas, we fish a river chain of lakes with spectacular results. In addition to Sickle Lake the lodge offers its guests the exclusive opportunity to fish on Chicken, Willis, Ghost and Black Trout Lakes. They are the only lodge on Sickle Lake and also the only lodge with access to these other lakes. Having always practiced catch-and-release, they have successfully maintained a "world-class" fishery with pike in the 40" - 55" range, and walleyes in 20"-30" range.

Lodge is an American-Plan fishing lodge offering "world class" angling opportunities. In addition to the American-Plan packages, their are also two outposts to choose from. Keewatin Post outpost, located at the convergence of the Keewatin River and Sickle Lake, and Last Hope outpost on the northeast shore of Last Hope Lake.

The lodge management area offers exclusive fishing rights to a zone of approximately 500 square miles. Sickle Lake itself is 21 miles long and unique in the fact that it is untouched, just the way nature made it. The Lake was never spoiled by dams and has never been commercially fished. It has always had a catch and release policy. The Northern Pike are World class and the Walleye fishing is fast and furious, providing for the tastiest traditional shore lunches possible. For an exciting challenge, a short portage will take you into Black Trout Lake. These unique Black Lake Trout range from 6 to 8 pounds and provide the angler with a day full of fun! All of the lakes are abundant with whitefish.

Main Lodge

   Spacious cabins are widely separated for maximum guest privacy. Each cabin is equipped with electricity (generated on site), refrigerator, hot and cold running water, shower, and cozy living areas with Franklin fireplaces. There are coffeepots in every cabin. The cabins accommodate up to 8 people each.

Every cabin overlooks the beautiful white sand beach that is 700 yards long. At Sickle Lake you can spend hours gazing at the loons floating upon the deep blue water. A small volume camp and never take any more than 20 guests at one time, although they can accommodate up to 24 people.

We will be offering spring bear hunt / fishing combos May 29-June 4, June 4-10 2004. Trips are from Winnipeg. Hunts are out of Keewatin Point outpost and Last Hope outpost. Two hunters per guide. A camp cook is also included in the combination hunting/fishing package
