#101C Wild boar hunting in North Queensland - there's just nowhere else like it on earth. The exclusive concession we operate on has one of the largest wild boar populations found anywhere in Queensland. Situated at the base of Cape York, and only one hour by air from Cairns or Port Douglas, this 2.2 million acre property has huge feral pig numbers. Cape York itself is estimated to contain over 8 million wild hogs - and we think this place must be their home base! Big tusky boars are the standard here, as can be seen from the photographs on this page. On a recent hunt, between two vehicles we viewed approximately 350 wild pigs in just 2 days. Not only are wild pigs in abundance here - so are dingo and scrub bulls. We only hunt for mature males - all others are left alone to grow to their full, impressive size. This ensures the continuation of strong, hunt able populations for future hunts. What more could a hunter ask for in the wilds of North Queensland? How about excellent accommodation and after hunt facilities. The cabins are all fully self contained & air-conditioned, with indoor toilets and showers. As with all our concessions, there is no need to cater for yourself however. Our hostess prepares beautiful hearty meals for our clients, so you can relax and enjoy a refreshing drink at the end of a great day's hunting. And if all this excitement isn't enough for you - why not throw in a line for Australia's finest table and fighting fish - barramundi. The new fishing boat on hand is fully equipped for the use of our clients, and it's use is included in your daily rate. Tariffs Daily Rates (Includes our professional guide service, fishing, fishing equipment & fishing boat, hunting dogs, all meals, accommodation, non alcoholic beverages, permits & weapons. Ammunition is supplied at cost price. A maximum of twelve clients (including hunters & non-hunters) can be catered for at any one time.) 1 hunter = $550/day 2-4 hunters = $450/hunter/day Non-hunters = $180/person/day Trophy Fees: Includes detailed caping, salting, care of capes / skins and boiling of tusks/skulls/horns where required. Wild Boar = $300 (Tusks/European mounts only = $100) Scrub Bulls = $990 Dingo = $250 Flights: Ex Cairns or Port Douglas, prices start from $180/person return. Exact price depends on group numbers.
